Today, Barco LiveDots welcomed a new member to its renowned C-series LED display family. The C8 outdoor LED display shares its high-class image processing, flexible software and easy-to-use peripherals with the other C-series LED displays but provides an 8.33 mm pixel pitch and 5,000 nits brightness.
Ultimate image quality
The versatile C8 offers high-quality scaling, an unlimited pixel count (through stacking of multiple processors), auto redundancy and 16-bit processing per color. Another significant feature is its hermetically sealed and fanless design which guarantees crisp images at all times.
Typhoon tested
Just like the other outdoor LED displays, the C8 underwent Barco’s typhoon test. In this testing program not only the effect of water and dust (the basis for IP rating) is tested but also the impact of UV rays, varying temperatures and vibrations is taken into account. This ‘typhoon tested’ quality label is your guarantee for a reliable product that can withstand the most severe weather conditions.
Perfectly suited for cross-rental
Because the C8’s mechanical accessories – such as the truss beams, feet and stacking frame – and image processors are common to the other C-series LED displays, rental companies can use their current inventory to the fullest. Plus, as the Barco proprietary calibration technology is integrated in the display, the C8 is perfectly suited for cross-rental applications and offers a consistent brightness at all times, even over different batches.
