Barco’s introduction of RGB Lasers as a light source has given rear-projection video wall technology a substantial and inventive boost. Barco is now offering owners of legacy lamp based systems, OVL-series & OL-7xx systems the opportunity to upgrade their system.

The RGB Laser ODL series excels on many levels in Barco's ecoscoring methodology. The efficient laser banks make sure power consumption is limited. Coupled with other energy-saving features (including standby/off modes and automated power management function) these video walls make sure no unnecessary power is spent. Other highlights include longer lifetime, the optimized packaging design for efficient logistics and the use of recycled materials and the perfected end-of-life management, with the capability to do a technology upgrade of the projection engine without discarding the screen and casing.
