Mr. Zhao joined Barco in 2020 as R&D Manager in Suzhou (China), where he was instrumental in building and scaling the local R&D organization. In 2024, he was appointed General Manager Healthcare China, taking full responsibility for the Barco healthcare business and organization in China. In January 2026, he expanded his scope to lead the global Modality business, followed by his appointment as Executive Vice President Healthcare in June 2026, where he leads Barco’s global healthcare business.

Prior to joining Barco, Mr. Zhao served as Chief Technology Officer at Fujitsu Nanjing from 2017 to 2019. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at Honeywell (2006–2017), where he held several engineering and leadership roles.

Mr. Zhao holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Suzhou University (2006) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Yantai University (2003).
