NEW: 24-inch display for medical imaging

Barco has released a new 24-inch wide-screen clinical review display for viewing diagnostic images and clinical information consistently and accurately. The new Barco MDRC-2124 has been specifically designed for use at the point of care. Thanks to its 24" wide-screen, the display allows users to visualize more content on a single screen than they would with a traditional 4:3 display monitor.

Fit-for purpose
The MDRC-2124 is equipped with professional medical-grade LCD technology which offers more contrast, better luminance and a wider viewing angle than off-the-shelf LCD screens. An optional protective cover, which means it can be cleaned to local hospital infection control standards, makes it optimally suited for any clinical environment.

Consistent, calibrated images at the point of care
The new display is also bundled with the company's MediCal QAWeb software. This unique service provides administrators with one-click remote access to display settings, allowing them to deploy an image consistency policy across an entire hospital site. Because of this, physicians are guaranteed consistent image quality over time and across screens.
