How can projectiondesign help promote Italy’s cultural heritage?
PROJEKTOR Lesezeit 1 Min.
Fancy a 3D stroll through the city of Turin in the Roman era or a life-like visit to the mosque in Rome? During the third edition of the DNA.italia conference last week in Turin, projectiondesign and 3D experts NoReal.it invited professionals from Italy’s cultural sector for a realistic visit to these cultural highlights. The brightness, contrast and wide viewing angle of the F35 projector were just perfect to bring the baffling 3D content from NoReal.it to life.
Harness the potential of a country’s heritage
Architects, engineers, construction and restoration companies, public bodies, museums, theaters and tour operators: this is just a random selection of the visitors to DNA.italia, on 18 and 19 April last. They travelled to Turin for a series of interesting round tables, workshops, presentations, etc., including an exhibition, to discover the economic and social growth potential offered by Italy’s cultural and landscape heritage.
Extremely realistic
Projectiondesign and No.Real.it shared a booth with other partners of MIMOS – a group of Italian companies active in the field of simulation -, where they showcased their solutions for museums. The F35 active stereo projector immersed visitors to the booth into the extremely realistic 3D environments created by NoReal.it. The virtual reconstruction of Augusta Taurinorum, the city of Turin in the Roman era (28 B.C.), and of the Mosque in Rome amazed all attendants.
