Barco CEO Eric Van Zele is ICT Personality of the Year

Barco proudly announces that its President and CEO, Eric Van Zele, added a new award to his list of achievements. Last night, two years after Barco won the award for Belgian ICT Company of the Year, Eric won the title of ICT Personality of the Year at the Data News Awards for Excellence ceremony - the most prestigious ICT event of the year - in Brussels.

The Data News Awards for Excellence, organized by the Belgian bi-weekly business magazine Data News, reward companies, products and individuals within the ICT sector that stand out in terms of innovation, influence, market share, job creation and local entrenchment.

The magazine’s editorial staff selected Eric Van Zele as the winner out of 25 nominees in the category ICT Personality of the Year. Mr. Van Zele received the award from Secretary of State for Modernization of the Public Services Hendrik Bogaert.
