Carmike Cinemas debuts DreamWorks Animation's "Turbo" in Auro 11.1 by Barco

The premium cinema trend, featuring giant screens, plush seating, gourmet concessions, and digital 3D projection, is attracting a new breed of moviegoer. This wide array of amenities is helping leading theater owners such as Carmike Cinemas differentiate themselves from the at-home and small screen cinema experience to provide patrons with more value for their entertainment dollar. Immersive 3D audio is emerging as the logical next step in premier cinema, and Carmike Cinemas' Riverstone 15 in Canton, Georgia, is now the region’s first to offer this one-of-a-kind immersive cinema audio with Auro 11.1 by Barco.

Carmike Cinemas will be bringing many of today’s movies to life with Auro 11.1 by Barco, which was recently installed in Carmike’s premium large format “BIGD” auditorium.
