When selecting the Extended desktop option to use the extended desktop feature in the ClickShare Desktop App, a ClickShare - Extended desktop popup may appear on your laptop screen.
This is due to the changes made by Microsoft in the drivers used in Windows 10 for the extended desktop feature.
Due to this, the following has been changed to these ClickShare devices:
CS-100(H)/CSE-200(+)/CSE-800:
Compatible with the extended desktop functionality. However, if you still encounter issues, please make sure to update your Base Unit with their latest version (how-to, see KB5923) and also ensure that the ClickShare Extension Pack is installed on your laptop.
CSC-1 and CSM-1:
Can no longer use the extended desktop functionality since it is not compatible with these new drivers and cannot be changed to make it compatible. The installation of ClickShare Extension Pack is however still recommended because it also contains the ClickShare launcher feature.
