Encore3 levels up with 10.1 software release

In our last Encore3 communication, we made a promise: to listen, to deliver, and to keep building with you. Today, that promise takes a big leap forward. Version 10.1 Beta is here, bringing the features you’ve been asking for.
Since our last update, we’ve already rolled out two patches to tackle field-reported bugs. Now, with the Event Master Toolset v10.1 Beta, we’re moving beyond fixes and delivering real functionality to elevate your experiences.
EC-210 support is here
Encore3 now fully supports the EC-210 controller. This means you can bring the tactile control and familiarity you trust into your Encore3 workflows. Even better, EC-210 right hand side emulator is now integrated into the Encore3 GUI, giving you the ability to train, test, and design show setups virtually before hitting the stage.
Other v10.1 highlights include:
- DP Quad Input Card and TCI now handle ultra-wide inputs (e.g. 8Kx1K) for backgrounds and layers. (Work in progress. Not included in Beta release).
- Enjoy more flexibility with still sources on Aux outputs.
- Output copy: duplicate a screen output to another connector of the same type, even on a different card in the same chassis.
- Auto-generated thumbnails enable a smoother, more visual interface for faster workflows.
We’re committed to delivering the tools you need, when you need them, and this update is the first step toward unlocking even greater capacity and performance of the Encore3 platform.
What’s next?
We know scalability is key for your productions, and we continue to work on this. Our R&D team is currently focused on developing an expansion unit that will bring at least 8 additional inputs and 4 outputs to Encore3 via the QSFP28 link connectivity. This means more flexibility, more creative possibilities. It’s part of a bigger plan to make Encore3 the platform that grows with you.
Stay tuned: we’ll share more details on this soon. For now, know this: Encore3 is evolving, and we’re building it together.
