Founded in July 1939, Ganzhou Hospital, Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University (Ganzhou People’s Hospital) is a National Regional Medical Center construction unit and one of the first Grade A Tertiary Comprehensive Hospitals in Jiangxi Province, China. The imaging center’s three reading rooms are equipped with 40 Coronis Fusion 6MP displays and 5 Nio Fusion 12MP multimodal diagnostic displays. When reviewing MRI perfusion studies or vascular VR images, radiologists can view color and grayscale images simultaneously on a single display, eliminating the need to switch between multiple screens. Advanced workflow tools such as SpotView™ further improve reading efficiency, while the QAWeb Enterprise compliance & quality control platform addresses the challenge of synchronizing quality assurance across multiple displays.

An ergonomic and efficient working environment for radiologists

The physical environment of reading rooms was also upgraded with ergonomic height-adjustable workstations featuring integrated wireless phone charging. Enabling physicians to seamlessly switch between sitting and standing positions based on their workflow needs, while also keeping the workspace cleaner, more organized, and highly practical. Through a centralized environment control panel, radiologists can conveniently adjust task lighting, ambient lighting, and reading lights with a single touch, maintaining an optimal reading environment at 10–60 lux, ensuring continuous, flicker-free, and stable illumination.

Integrated medical display system for collaboration and training

The main conference room of hospital’s medical imaging center features one 98-inch and two 86-inch Barco integrated medical screens. Powered by the Barco smart morning conference system, the room supports daily scheduling, morning case archiving, statistical reporting, as well as remote consultation and teaching activities. An integrated control system also enables centralized management of room lighting, audio equipment, and other conference room devices.
