Cinionic Expands Laser Solution Portfolio at CinemaCon 2022

LAS VEGAS – April 26, 2022 – Cinionic, the global leader in laser-powered cinema solutions, unveils additions to its laser portfolio with new Barco Series 4 and Laser Light Upgrade (LLU) models at the annual cinema convention, CinemaCon, in Las Vegas from April 25 to April 28, 2022. The new Barco Series 4 SP2K-20 and SP2K-25, as well as six fully integrated LLU kits for Series 2, continue the company’s ongoing mission to offer a laser solution for every screen. Attendees at NATO’s annual CinemaCon tradeshow can see the new Barco Series 4 SP2K 25 and a laser-upgraded DP4K-23B+ live at the custom-built Laser Theater at Cinionic World in the Roman Ballrooms throughout the show.

Barco Series 4
The two new 2K models in the award-winning Barco Series 4 family bring the benefits of a next-generation laser projection platform to even more screens and expands the Series 4 2K range from 6,000 to 23,000 lumens. With SP2K-20 and SP2K-25, even more exhibitors and audiences can enjoy consistently brilliant images in a cost-efficient, eco-friendly, and worry-free laser projection solution.

Laser Light Upgrade
The fully integrated Laser Light Upgrade solution transforms Series 2 projectors into laser projectors. The accessible laser solution for cinema also features a full projector warranty for up to 5 years, extending the life of the projector and immediately elevates the moviegoer experience. The LLU B-series on show during CinemaCon delivers leading laser presentations for bigger screens in a seamless upgrade.

“Laser projection by Cinionic is powering a new era for cinema” commented Wim Buyens, CEO of Cinionic. “The move to laser for exhibitors around the world offers a better experience, cost-efficiency, and a greener way to present movies. With these innovative new models, we continue to deliver moviegoing experiences that keep audiences coming back.”

During CinemaCon 2021, Cinionic announced its move to an all-laser portfolio. Today’s announcement furthers the company’s commitment to laser with an expanded portfolio to empower exhibitors with best-in-class projection solutions that elevate the moviegoing experience and reduce operating costs. In 2022, the company returns to Las Vegas with its full range of cinema solutions and services.
