Tis the season to be generous: One Campus opens its doors for charity

持続可能性 読み終わるまでの時間:約2分

Every year around the holiday period the Belgian radio station Studio Brussel organizes Music for Life. This yearly happening started in 2006 as a request program with listeners donating money to charity to hear their favorite song. In the meantime, it has grown into a nation-wide tradition engaging young and old to gather money for a good cause of their own choice. During the 'Warmest Week' the radio station chooses a location for their pop-up studio where all warm-hearted listeners then come to present their fundraisers, shine a light on their charity and handover the raised money.

Just to give you an idea: in 2018 the benefit campaign collected more than €17 million for almost 2000 good causes!

The Barco winter fair

Over the last couple of years, Barco employees have been setting up diverse fundraiser actions successfully. But this year, with Kortrijk - the base port of our headquarters - getting the honors to accommodate the radio DJs during the 'Warmest Week', Barco decided to raise the bar.

On December 20th and 21st, we’re warmly welcoming all external visitors into our beautiful landmark building. Together with the surrounding companies we’re organizing a cozy winter fair in One Campus with live music, festive projection mappings and convivial stalls selling house-made cookies, drinks or hand-crafted gifts. In addition, visitors will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get a guided tour in our renowned experience center. All profits are of course going to local charities.

So if you happen to be in the neighborhood that weekend, don’t hesitate to come say hi!

Season’s greetings

And for those reading this on the other side of the world, thinking they also want to contribute to the Barco warmth, we’ve also got our yearly UNICEF season’s greetings card.
