MirrorOp (Win/Mac): No audio

When you launch the MirrorOp software on Windows or Mac, the default mechanism will mute your system sounds and divert all audio to the wePresent, over IP.  The option that mutes your system volume is enabled by default in your MirrorOp software Preferences, but this can be disabled if this needed:

If you don't hear audio during projection, then this may be caused by a few factors. 
Please verify the following:

  • Make sure that Audio projection is enabled in your MirrorOp software.
  • Make sure you are using the correct audio adapter:
    • Windows:
      If you do not hear audio when your MirrorOp software is projecting video correctly to wePresent, please do not fiddle with your volume mixer settings, the fact that your System volume is muted is correct. The error is probably due to the fact that MirrorOp could not use the correct audio adapter. Please check your audio adapter settings inside Windows to make the default audio adapter your primary.

    • Mac:
      If you do not hear audio when your MirrorOp software is projecting video correctly to wePresent, please make sure that you are using the correct Audio driver. For macOS, the installation may be blocked by System Security. So, please enter "System Preference"-> "Security and Privacy"-> "General"  to allow the installation of Soundflower manually. You can also follow the video below.
