Martin Professional Middle East expands rental fleet with 100 Barco QDX projectors
Kortrijk, Belgium, 9 June 2026 – Barco, a global leader in professional projection and visualization technology, announces a new agreement with long standing partner and distributor Martin Professional Middle East, which has invested in 100 units of Barco’s QDX 4K45 projectors to further expand its high end rental and installation portfolio, with rollout planned for the second half of 2026. The deal builds on the companies’ recently expanded collaboration, following Martin Professional’s appointment as an official Barco distributor for the region, and highlights continued confidence in Barco’s flagship three chip projection platform.
Building on a trusted partnership
Barco and Martin Professional share a long history of successful collaboration across multiple regions and market segments, including live events, themed entertainment, and mapping installations. The recent distributor appointment marked an important milestone in this relationship, strengthening local availability, expertise, and customer support for Barco’s projection portfolio.
This latest investment, with units set to be delivered in the second half of 2026, represents one of the most significant Barco projector expansions within the partnership to date and reflects growing customer demand for premium 4K visual performance paired with long‑term reliability.
Proven performance in landmark projects
By expanding its stock in QDX fleet, Martin Professional is well positioned to meet increasing demand for rental companies that would need immediate deliveries in the Middle East. The QDX projectors are trusted across applications such as large-scale events, cultural landmarks, themed attractions, and immersive storytelling projects worldwide.
The QDX‑4K45 platform has already demonstrated its capabilities in high‑profile projection mapping projects around the world. A recent example is the Liwa Sign in the Al Dhafra desert in the United Arab Emirates, where Martin Professional deployed Barco QDX projectors were used to transform the world’s tallest landmark sign into a permanent immersive nighttime experience, delivering high‑impact visuals under extreme environmental conditions.
Bilal Assidi, Sales Director MPME, adds: “By adding 100 QDX‑4K45 projectors to our fleet, we’re strengthening our ability to support ambitious creative projects – from touring productions to complex permanent outdoor installations – while giving our customers confidence in both image quality and operational efficiency.”
Supporting future‑ready visual experiences
“This agreement marks a natural next step in our closely aligned strategies,” said Domien De Witte, VP Sales Barco IX. “The investment in 100 QDX‑4K45 units reflects strong confidence in high‑resolution, high‑brightness projection that’s built to last. We’re proud to continue supporting Martin Professional as they help customers push creative and technical boundaries across the region.”
