Barco helps Greater Gwinnett Golf Championship go live!

1 min read

Celebrating its fifth year as a supporter of the Greater Gwinnett Championship golf tournament, Barco provided a “home base” for national television broadcasting companies covering the PGA event. Joining with other local businesses, Barco showed its community support as the sponsor of the 14th hole. Barco regularly contributes to the annual event, which was held at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia.

In his first Champions Tour event, Miguel Angel Jimenez took home the trophy, ahead of last-year’s winner Bernard Langer who took second place, followed by Jay Haas who finished third. Jimenez wrapped up the tournament with no bogeys on 32 consecutive holes.

The Greater Gwinnett Championship is just one of many local community events that Barco-Duluth supports, including Relay for Life and Wounded Warriors. Barco has also provided its industry-leading visualization solutions for the NFL, the Olympic Games, and World Cup sporting events.
