Introducing Sustainable Impact Journey, our new sustainability strategy

We’re taking the next step in our sustainability journey with the introduction of our new strategy, Sustainable Impact Journey. In 2023, we consulted various internal and external stakeholders to evaluate our sustainability ambitions and actions. This not only validated our approach but also identified areas for improvement that have shaped our new sustainability strategy. It highlights our commitment to driving change across three key areas: protecting earth, engaging people, and empowering society.

Sustainable Impact Journey

Our Sustainable Impact Journey focuses on three key pillars, each underpinned by specific KPIs and targets, aligned with our double materiality assessment. Our upcoming 2024 annual report will dive into all the new and updated targets and KPIs.

Here are the key highlights:

We protect earth by taking science-based climate actions, developing more sustainable products ​& exploring the offering of circular solutions

  • Surpass the absolute carbon emissions reduction target of 45% by 2025 and during 2025 we commit to setting new science-based targets for 2030
  • Generate 80% of our revenues from ECO-labeled products by 2027
  • 90% of new products receive the Barco ECO-label by 2027
  • Each year, increase our revenues from circular solutions

We engage people by embedding a continuous learning mindset, promoting an inclusive environment and co-creating a healthy, smart & safe organization.

We empower society for sustainability and resilience by driving sustainable change through innovation while cultivating responsible and reliable business

  • Each year continue to report 0 critical health, safety and security incidents
  • By 2027, have suppliers covering at least 80% of total spend scored on sustainability performance
  • Each year between now and 2027, we aim to increase our Global Net Promoter Score by 2 points
