Barco’s Encore3 platform has come a long way since its launch, and we’re just getting started in our ongoing mission to refine and evolve the platform. With the release of our software version 10.0.2, we’re doubling down on what matters most: stability, user feedback, and long-term innovation in live event image processing.
Your feedback is our foundation
The Encore3 development roadmap is shaped by the voices of its users. We’re incredibly grateful for the feedback and support from our dedicated community. From conversations in the field to direct reports from operators, we’ve heard you. This current update tackles several field-reported issues and brings meaningful improvements to overall system stability – an essential step in making Encore3 a trusted backbone for operators worldwide.
Your insights have also helped shape our priorities for the future releases, including
- resolving ultrawide input for DisplayPort connections,
- Input/Output and AUX output enhancements,
- linking functionality and workflow improvements.
These are flagged as critical priorities for our team and are actively being worked on.
EC-210 support in progress
We know many of you rely on the EC-210 controller, and we’re actively working to bring full Encore3 compatibility to this coveted piece of hardware. It’s a top priority for our team and our goal is to ensure seamless integration and operational flexibility for every user before the end of this year.
Looking ahead
Beyond the current update, we’re already laying the groundwork for future platform enhancements. Development has begun on new Encore3 features, including Input and Output expansion and AVoIP integration. These aren’t just technical upgrades – they’re part of a bigger vision to grow Encore3 in ways that truly support your business and workflows.
