See what’s next for Encore3 at ISE26

3 min read

Encore3 is evolving: step by step, release by release. Within five months since V10.0 (First official release of Encore3), we have delivered two patches including bug fixes and V10.1 with new features. While placing stability of the platform over new features, we are rapidly fulfilling needs of our customers.

With the official release of version 10.1 coming soon, we’re looking forward to delivering on our promise of stability and innovation. From EC-210 integration to ultra-wide input handling, this update reinforces Barco’s commitment to leading the way in live event technology.

Join us at ISE26 to see how Encore3 is scaling beyond limits and redefining control for the next generation of productions.

Encore3 10.1 feature set

As introduced in our previous update, version 10.1 brings powerful new capabilities:

Ultra-wide input handling: Display ports input on DP Quad & Tri-Combo input cards now support ultra-wide resolutions (e.g. 8Kx1K) for backgrounds and layers.

EC-210 controller support: seamless integration of the tactile control you trust, plus a right-hand emulator in the GUI for simulated learning and design.

Screen output copy: duplicate a screen output to another connector of the same type – even across cards.

Auto-generated thumbnails: a smoother, more visual interface for faster operation.

Flexible still sources on Aux outputs for more creative freedom for your workflows.

Advanced control integration

To top off the 10.1 highlights, we’ve completed full integration with Q-SYS, Crestron, and Streamdeck, bringing advanced control workflows to Encore3 through industry-standard platforms. Now you can seamlessly manage your system from the tools you already trust, delivering greater flexibility and efficiency for complex event setups, fixed or temporary, and streamlining control across your entire production environment.

Ready to see what’s next?

Next week, we’re traveling to Barcelona for the ISE tradeshow, where we’ll be previewing multi-unit linking. Soon, you’ll be able to link beyond two Encore3 units, unlocking greater flexibility and capacity for high-end productions. This advancement ensures your system can grow with your needs, supporting larger, more demanding workflows.

Bigger shows, bigger possibilities: this is the future of Encore3. And that’s not all: we have prepared a special promo for purchase of linked systems. Get in touch with your Barco sales rep, to learn more.
