A church and a BMW. Or, a Christmas market and a BMW/MINI concessionary. Think they have nothing in common? They do! At the end of 2016, French AV expert Abaques Audiovisuel delivered Barco projectors to power a one-of-a-kind video projection mapping on a church and on a BMW i8 car to mark the opening of a Christmas market and BMW sales point, respectively.

Impressing the audience
Video projection mappings have been around for a while now, yet they still manage to amaze everyone attending the spectacle. That’s why Ad Lib Creations designed an awe-inspiring video projection mapping to mark the opening of the Christmas market in the French city of Blagnac.
A few weeks earlier, a mapping by Ad Lib had wowed over 1,000 people invited to the opening of the BMW/MINI sales location in Brive-la-Gaillarde.
Abaques delivered the Barco equipment: two HDX-W20 projectors in Blagnac and a RLM-14 projector in Brive-la-Gaillarde. “Whether the projection mapping is on a church, in the great outdoors, or on a sports car in a showroom, we’ve been working with Barco equipment for years. Time and time again, it performs flawlessly and impresses the visitors,” says Stéphane Gambier, President at Abaques Audiovisuel.
