The Alchemy of Light, a mind-bending multimodal visual event, held its third edition in the city of Katowice in southern Poland in September 2017. One of the rock stars of the event? Our ultra-vivid UDX 4K projector took center stage in a projection mapping show for the first time ever – with absolutely phenomenal results.

Every year, the Alchemy of Light takes place in a different city and showcases a different theme. Featuring not just 2D and 3D projection mappings on a massive scale, the outdoor show blends light with the live acts of more than 100 musicians, dancers and acrobats.
The result is one of the most visually stunning, talent-heavy performances in the world. And what better way to ‘highlight’ human talent than with the world’s most compact, high-brightness laser phosphor projector, our UDX-4K32.
Bright show, bright partners
The multimedia experts of Visualsupport were the executive producers of the show, designing it, providing all equipment used and directing the performance itself. They were excited to introduce Poland to the power of our UDX projector.
Together with two of our HDF-W30 and six HDX-W20 projectors, the two UDX-4K32 projectors generated a total luminous flux of 240,000 lumens!
