Help the most silent projector get the loudest cheers

Barco’s RLM-W6, also dubbed “the most silent projector”, is currently in the running to get a coveted InAVation Award, a highly prestigious industry accolade that is awarded each year shortly before ISE. And ISE is, as you may know, the biggest AV tradeshow of Europe.

You can help Barco win this award - not only by voting yourself, but also by encouraging your customers, partners and other contacts to vote for Barco’s RLM-W6. If you know of any success stories that feature the RLM-W6 in your area, please let us know so we can build an even stronger bid.

Barco-supported initiative to introduce deprived Brazilian youngsters to the world of projection wins prestigious award

Immerse youngsters from poor Rio de Janeiro communities into the world of projection, thus giving them job opportunities to escape poverty: that is the objective of the ‘5 Views Technical Formation in Audivisual’ social inclusion project set up in Brazil. Barco has been supporting the 2011 edition by providing classes about digital cinema projection and supplying a Barco DP2K-20C digital cinema projector. The Projectionist Course has now received the ‘Creative Economy Award’ from the Brazilian Ministry of Culture.

Barco helps amaze the Foot Locker Management

Barco’s event projectors can be used in all kinds of shows and set-ups. During the annual award ceremony for the Foot Locker Europe Management team, four RLM-W8 projectors were used for floor projection - a unique set-up by Barco rental partner ACS audiovisual solutions. The RLM-W8 projectors worked alongside two ultra-bright HDF-W26 and three more RLM projectors to create an amazing show at the Nieuwegein Business Center (the Netherlands), on 28 February last.
