Barco MEA introduces business partners to the world of Barco Healthcare

What is Barco’s strategy for the Brazilian market? How can Barco solutions foster collaboration in utilities, help companies to smartly reinforce security and surveillance or boost R&D activities? What is ClickShare and what can Brazil expect from the recent takeover of projectiondesign? 180 Barco partners and customers received answers to these questions – and much more besides - during Barco’s AVS days in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, earlier this month.

Simulation, visualization and Virtual Reality (VR) solutions are growing in a range of disciplines. That is great news for Antycip Simulation, which has been a contributor in this space for over 20 years. To show its customers how immersive solutions can really add value to their operations, the simulation expert just opened its first Regional Demo Center near Milan (Italy). The center is stuffed with Barco projectors (1 x F70, 5x F50 and 3x F22) that highlight the power of true immersion.

Last week, the Egyptian Society of Women Health Radiologists (ESWH) teamed up with the American Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) to host the ‘Breast Imaging Symposium’. Breast cancer experts and other healthcare professionals came together in Cairo, Egypt, for three days of training and workshops. Barco was delighted to support the event: together with our local partner and distributor Global Technology (FujiFilm), we delivered three Coronis Uniti^® and three Nio 5MP diagnostic displays to facilitate the workshops.
