What is X-PORT™?

The X-PORT™ is a small and unique module based extension for interfacing and image processing that fits easily on the back of the projector. It gives extended connectivity options beyond what’s available as standard on the projector and that without replacing the projector or your existing infrastructure.

Choosing the X-PORT™ module that suits your needs is simple. With no converters or extenders – this is pure plug and play.

X-PORT™ DCC 120 (Dual Channel Combiner)

• Push-in module easily fitted to the back of the projector
• Allows the transition from passive to active stereoscopic 3D
• Frame converts any two L/R single stream signals to one sequential 120Hz 3D stream
• Frame converts any dual head signals to a single 120Hz stream
• Can be combined with projectiondesign’s  X-PORT™modules HDMI 3D, 3G-SDI or DisplayPort

X-PORT™ HDMI 3D (available Q1'13)

• Push-in module easily fitted to the back of the projector
• Two discrete HDMI 3D connectors supports virtually all the formats and features available in the HDMI 1.4 standard*
• Translates a broad range of signals in standard and non-standard formats, using a proprietary image processing technology to identify an incoming signal, and configures the system to produce the best possible image
• Supports virtually all 3D formats*, including 3D up to 120Hz and the Blu-ray 3D standard
• Features adaptive frame rate control, which allow for any frame rate in to any refresh rate out
• Uses Content Adaptive Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation to dramatically improve and eliminate motion artifacts
• Can be used with projectiondesign’s X-PORT™ DCC 120 Dual Channel Combiner

X-PORT™ 3G-SDI

• Push-in module easily fitted to the back of the projector
• Gives the benefit of cable lengths of up to 300 meters without loss of quality
• Supports bandwidths up to 2.970 Gbit/s
• Backward compatible with HD-SDI
• Active stereo 3D capabilities when combined with X-PORT™ DCC 120 Dual Channel Combiner
