Our ClickShare Alliance Program represents a cooperation between Barco and you as a partner in the program with a rich set of benefits and requirements. The alliance partner program has two tiers, and each tier has its own set of benefits and requirements. 

Alliance Partner

This program tier will allow the partner to quickly verify interoperability with our Clickshare portfolio and become listed on our ‘Compatible Devices’ list. Open to all vendors

Premier Alliance Partner

Barco invites partners into this advanced program tier that focuses on product  interoperability, joint marketing collaboration and business development in different regions. Upon invitation only

How to become a ClickShare Alliance Partner

Joining the ClickShare Alliance Partner Program is easy! 

Step 1: Explore

Familiarize yourself with the ClickShare Alliance Partner Program and its benefits and requirements.

Step 2: Apply

Complete the application form on-line and accept the terms and conditions of the program. 

Step 3: Verify

Verify your solutions’ interoperability with ClickShare using our testing guidelines. ‘Compatible’ product interoperability level to be tested by partner. ‘Certified’ product interoperability to be tested by both Barco and partner and subject to technical specifications and portfolio alignment as qualified by Barco. Please consult the Barco Alliance team.

Step 4: ClickShare Alliance Partner

You are now a valued partner of our ClickShare Alliance Program and can use the ‘Compatible with’ or ‘Certified for’ product interoperability badge in all of your communications to the outside world.

Designated Barco Partnership Manager
A designated Barco Partnership Manager is in charge of the partner relationship and will help you align on technology integration, sales and marketing activities.

Executive sponsorship and engagement
Barco executives play a pivotal role in supporting the partnership and engage with partner executives to align on partnership goals, committed resources and review partnership results.

Joint business development planning and Go-to-Market Alignment
The partners will align on concrete go-to-market objectives and define clear joint business development plans on global and/or regional level.

Partner Business Reviews
You will have regular reviews with your partnership manager and designated stakeholders to review the partnership and plan technical, sales and marketing related activities for the upcoming planning period.

Sharing Market insights
We are open to jointly discuss industry trends and market growth opportunities as well as share market positioning and customer insights.



Development and verification

NFR (Not For Resale) Testing equipment
The partner will be offered NFR Barco ClickShare products supporting interoperability testing and integration development with the partner products’ portfolio. When received for free, the Barco products will remain Barco propriety and have to be returned upon the termination of the partnership.

Technical documentation
Through the Alliance Partner Program you will gain access to the latest technical documentation needed to easily integrate your solutions.

Testing Guidelines
Barco will provide you with testing guidelines to help you verify the general functionality and compatibility of your product offering and to become listed on the “compatible” devices list.

Beta / Pre-release Program participation
Barco runs multiple beta or pre-release programs to test next-generation features. The partner is invited to test prototypes with their solutions and provide feedback to be ready for joint deployment when Barco products or releases reaches general availability.

Research & Development collaboration
Strategic Alliance partnerships can entail co-development and investment in deep technical integrations creating measurable market impact.

Product roadmap alignment
As a Certified Alliance Partner you will receive briefing sessions on product direction and news concerning Barco’s ClickShare Conference portfolio. Strategic partners might be invited to NDA roadmap sessions to prepare partners for future development cycles, assist the partner in better planning and discuss potential visionary projects.

Technical Certification Program
Partners can submit their products for test and review in the Barco ClickShare Certification labs. The certification tests are specifically designed for each solution area to ensure customer confidence. Products meeting Barco’s certification requirements can display the ‘certified for ClickShare Conference logo’.

Direct access to Barco Technical Certified Experts
Partner program membership gives you access to Barco subject matter experts for support on testing and standard integration during Barco standard business hours.

'Customizable' integration support
Support for partners looking into deeper or partner product-specific integration levels can be mutually agreed on.

Program badges
As a ClickShare Alliance Partner you are entitled to use the partner badge linking to your partner status on your website and in all relevant marketing material.

Partner presence on barco.com
We will be promoting our partnership and/or joint solution offering publicly on the Barco website.

Access to Barco extranet
You will gain access to the Barco extranet (myBarco) with all the latest files & tools for your market(s) and/or product(s).

Co-marketing assets
Jointly we will create co-branded marketing assets (solution brief, presentation, video, …) promoting the combined solution to the channel and end-customers (co-investment might be required).

Hardware or software vendor complementary to Barco ClickShare portfolio
The partner's product line is complementing Barco's ClickShare portfolio. The combined solution offers an attractive value proposition to our customers.

Barco approved partnerships
The application of the partner to the alliance partner program is subject to approval of Barco. To become a strategic alliance partner, you must receive an invitation from Barco.

Designated Partnership Manager
You must have a designated Partnership Manager for the ClickShare Alliance Partner Program in your organisation.

Annual Partner Business Review completion
As a Certified or Strategic Alliance Partner, you are expected to attend at least one partner business review meeting per year with your Barco partnership manager to review partnership and plan technical, sales and marketing related activities for the upcoming planning period.

Sharing Market insights
We expect you to be open to a jointly discussion on industry trends and market growth opportunities as well as share market positioning and customer insights.

Program Terms and Conditions*
Participation into the ClickShare Alliance partner program is subject to the partner's agreement to the program terms and conditions.

Non-disclosure agreement
Potential partners will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Agreement (technology, marketing, …)
Any specific technology, marketing or sales related activities agreed on will be documented in an interworking and co-marketing agreement to be signed by both parties.

Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU)
The specific nature, potential co-development, co-selling or any other agreed strategic initiatives in the Strategic Alliance Partnership will be documented in a MoU to be signed by both parties.

Development and verification

Provision of Partner NFR Testing equipment
The partner will provide Barco with products for interoperability testing as part of the certification procedure.

Demonstrated and sustained product interoperability as per testing guidelines (test results to be submitted in on-line form)
The partner will commit to sustained efforts in testing key applications with ClickShare to demonstrate product interoperability. Testing forms must be completed and returned as per Barco’s testing guidelines. You are expected to ensure compatibility with the latest version of  Barco’s ClickShare Conference portfolio in order to obtain and maintain a Compatible or Certified status for your product offering and use of the corresponding partner program badges.

Provision of partner integration tools, technical documentation, testing and certification guidelines
The partner commits to share with Barco relevant technical documentation, testing and certification guidelines and provides access to its latest integration & system design tools.

Reference architecture produced
The partner commits to jointly develop with Barco a common reference architecture on our combined solutions.

The partner is responsible for documenting the integration or joint solution using the Barco provided template.

Partner will provide Barco access to its global Technical Support Organisation for support on joint solutions related questions.

Provision of updated company info, logo and product information
Partners are required to provide Barco with updated company info, company logo's and product information for promotional use within the ClickShare Alliance Partner Program.

Barco presence on partner website
Partners will be promoting our partnership and/or joint solution offering publicly on the partner website.

Co-marketing assets developed
Jointly we will create co-branded marketing assets (solution brief, presentation, video, customer case studies …) promoting the combined solution to the channel and end-customers (co-investment might be required).
