ClickShare enters a boot loop with Iiyama screens when ECO standby is set

Article number: [12117]

Applicable to

We have been reported that the ClickShare Base Unit gets into a boot loop in combination with Iiyama TExx12MIS series screens. When the Base Unit goes into ECO Standby, a trigger was set by the screen resulting in wake-up and going into a boot loop. Also, the screen remains on, resulting in non-eco-friendly power consumption.

Our partner Iiyama found a solution for this problem with a firmware update for the TExx12MIS series.

By changing the HDMI™ input (where the Base Unit is connected to) from 2.0 to 1.4 spec, the issue is now resolved.

We have addressed the issue in firmware version 2.20 for the CX platform.
