This article explains how to configure the Neat Board 50 for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) mode when used with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and the following ClickShare devices: CX-30 Gen2, CX-50 Gen2 and CB Pro.
Steps to configure

Access Neat Board 50 system settings:
- For Zoom: Go to More > Settings > General > System settings
- For Microsoft Teams: Go to More > Settings > Device settings

Neat Board 50 system configurations:
- Go to System > USB connectivity
- Select BYOD Mode
- Enable Automatic
- Enable Use USB extenders

Cable Connections Setup:
Device combination HDMI™ connection USB connection CX-50 Gen2 (FMR mode enabled) + Neat Board 50
HDMI™ Out (CX-50 Gen2) to HDMI™ In (Neat Board 50) USB-A (CX-50 Gen2) to USB-C (Neat Board 50) CX-50 Gen2 (FMR mode not enabled) + Neat Board 50
No USB-C (CX-50 Gen2) to USB-C (Neat Board 50) CX-30 Gen2 + Neat Board 50 No USB-C (CX-30 Gen2) to USB-C (Neat Board 50) CB Pro + Neat Board 50 No USB-C (CB Pro) to USB-C (Neat Board 50) Note: For detailed information on cable connections to the Neat Board 50, please refer to the article provided here.

ClickShare Configurations: Configuration depends on the device and FMR mode status.

CX-50 Gen2
FMR mode enabled:
Follow the configuration instructions described in KB8863.
FMR mode not enabled:
Open the ClickShare Configurator, go to Display & Audio > Outputs and select Enable audio - CX-30 Gen2
Open the ClickShare Configurator, go to the Display & Audio and select Enable audio - CB Pro
Open the ClickShare Configurator, go to the Display and select Enable audio
