Troubleshooting ClickShare Bar Core/Pro is no longer powering up

We’ve observed a number of reports concerning ClickShare Bar Core and Bar Pro devices with a REV <16 that will not power up after a period of use. Our technical teams are actively investigating this issue and have prioritized it due to its potential impact.

Your support is essential in helping us resolve this quickly.
If you are experiencing this issue, please submit a support case within the warranty period of the device. We kindly ask to include the following information to help us diagnose and address the problem effectively.

1. Device Setup and Installation Environment


Please provide details about how and where the device is installed:

  • Power Supply
    Are you using the original Barco power adapter that came with the device, or an alternative power source (e.g., USB-C, third-party adapter)?

Important: If returning the device for analysis, please include the original Barco power adapter.

  • Physical Placement
    Where is the device located in the room? For example:
    • Mounted above or below a display
    • Positioned near other electronic equipment


2. Description of the Issue


To help us understand the nature and timing of the problem, please include:

  • Did the device fail to start when powered on?
  • Did it stop functioning during use (e.g., sudden shutdown, unusual noise)?
  • How long had the device been installed and operational before the issue occurred?
