Can I have root access to CMGS/XMS : change IP address of XMS

Applicable to

ISO requirements dictate that Barco keeps this password hidden from customers (SUDO is also not supported). Instead, re-install the CMGS/XMS software. Then restore the database from the original system.

During restore, the Collaboration Management Suite will not be accessible. This process will overwrite current settings (Base Units, users, roles, etc.). The firmware and scheduled software update jobs will not be restored. You will also be logged out of the application when the restore process ends.
