How To Install Silently The Diagnostic Imaging Software Products

In some cases, especially in sites where there is a consequent amount of Diagnostic Imaging setups installed, it is necessary to perform installations or software upgrades using a software deployment tool that will install/upgrade the software programs silently, without requiring any user intervention. 

Multiple tools are available to perform software deployments on multiple machines. We will not list here the tools to be used as Barco does not recommend any specific software deployment tool. 

Below is a list of command lines and parameters to be used in your software deployment system, to perform silent installations of all Barco Diagnostic Imaging Software Products. 
 

Prerequisites:

1. Download the latest software version from the Barco Product Support webpage Barco Support , 
2. Extract the MXRT Driver package from the K5408260_<xx>_Driver.zip folder. How to zip and unzip files

Instructions for the silent installation (software deployment)

1. MXRT DRIVER SILENT INSTALLATION

• Use WinRar or 7-zip to extract the Self Extracting MXRT driver application (Please Note: this is a separate process from unzipping the MXRT Driver zipped folder)
  

Install MXRT Driver

• Open Windows Command Prompt as an Windows Administrator
• Navigate to the Barco installation folder and execute the command:
  • MasterSetup.exe -silent

• After installing the MXRT Driver, restart the computer 
  
• • Note: Additional silent installation options can be found in paragraphs 3.3 and 3.4 from the MXRT User Guide

 
2. QAWEB ENTERPRISE SILENT INSTALLATION 

• Open Windows Command Prompt as an Windows Administrator
• Navigate to the QAWeb Enterprise installation folder and execute the command:
  • qaweb-agent-installer.exe /S /ORG <organization ID> /REGKEY <registrationkey>
     

3. MEDICAL QAWEB AGENT SILENT INSTALLATION

If you do not use QAWeb Enterprise but still use the previous quality assurance software program Medical QAWeb, please use the following command.
setup.exe /s /v"/q REBOOT=ReallySuppress"
optionally pass the hostname of the QAWebRelay setup.exe /s /v"/q REBOOT=ReallySuppress RELAYHOSTNAME=[hostname]"
 

4. QAWEB FOR DIN 6868-157 SILENT INSTALLATION (ONLY FOR GERMANY,SWISS)

• Open Windows Command Prompt as an Windows Administrator
• Navigate to the QAWeb Enterprise installation folder and execute the command
  • msiexec.exe /i "QAWeb for DIN 6868-157-1.3.x.msi" /quiet 
    "1.3.x" needs to be replaced with the software version of QAWeb for DIN 6868-157 to be deployed
