Check these prerequisites below for basic troubleshooting

  1. Make sure that outbound traffic is allowed on port 443 (HTTPS) via the IP addresses 137.117.187.172 and 137.117.177.94. Either by whitelisting or by using a service user which can pass through the firewall to these IP addresses (verify with IT if the user under which the QAWeb Relay service is running has the proper access rights to access the Internet; by default: Local System Account)
  2. Make sure that no other web services are running (before installing QAWeb Relay, browse to http://localhost. You should see a 'page not found' message from your browser. Any other message such as an Apache or IIS message indicates that a web server is running.
  3. Please make sure that port 80 and 443 are open (between the QAWeb Agent and QAWeb Relay)
  4. Please make sure that in the Windows Services of the Relay machine, the services QAWebRelayRelay and QAWebRelayAnimator are running
