The Local View feature in the ClickShare Desktop App enables participants to see the content presented on the meeting room display on their own devices. This feature is useful when, for example, you're sitting at the back of the room, taking meeting notes, or when you want to share the displayed content (from yourself or others) with remote participants in a UC&C call.
Here’s how you can use the Local View feature

Connect to your ClickShare device using the ClickShare Desktop App or the ClickShare Button.

In the ClickShare Desktop App, click the eye icon to enable Local View.
Clicking the eye icon in the ClickShare Desktop AppA new window "Local View" will open on your laptop or PC, mirroring the content displayed on the meeting room display. A red eye icon will appear at the bottom left corner of the meeting room display's splash screen, as illustrated below.

View room limit notification:
If the connected ClickShare device exceeds its maximum allowable view room limit, the ClickShare Desktop App will display a notification. For more information on Local View restrictions for your ClickShare device, see KB11203.

Feature availability:
Local View may be disabled by your IT administrator. If you’re unable to access this feature, please contact your IT department.

Share your content to the meeting room display. The Local View window will now display your shared content.
Hybrid Meeting Support: If you're hosting a hybrid meeting, you can share the meeting room content displayed in the Local View window with remote participants during a UC&C call (how-to, see KB2077).
