BUG FIXES
  • [FIXED] Some Screen Output Copies were resetting their output format to 3840x2160 @59.94 after a system was soft reset.
  • [FIXED] In a linked system, custom formats and EDID files now apply to inputs and outputs in client units.
  • [FIXED] An issue that caused layer(s) in presets to recall with an incorrect aspect ratio when the associated layer type or source type differed from the current PGM layer.
  • [FIXED] An issue in the MVR that could cause regions outside the active AOI and below the AOI markers to display pink noise or become frozen when AOI markers were disabled for screen destinations whose AOI region was smaller than the configured output size.
NEW FEATURES
  • Flip options are now added to the Layer's Effects sub-tab (Paintbrush icon).
  • None: The image is displayed in its original orientation
  • H: Flips the image 180 degrees horizontally around its Y axis.
  • V: Flips the image 180 degrees vertically around its X axis.
  • H/V: Flips the image 180 degrees both horizontally and vertically around its respective X and Y axes.
IMPROVED FEATURES
  • Presets that are saved while backup inputs are actively used in the scene will now recall the associated primary or backup inputs that are active at the time the preset is recalled.
  • Presets saved while the Chroma Key color picker was active will not restore the color picker to the active state when recalled.
  • The maximum number of action steps per cue has been increased to 100.

BUG FIXES
  • [FIXED] Inputs and screens created at 4096x2160 @59.94 and @60 are now allowed to be used as sources in screen and aux destinations over the link cables.
  • [FIXED] Multiple MVR input quality improvements.

  • Aux Destination Program is now available as a resource in the MVRs.
  • The Background Layer of a Screen Destination(s) composed of two or more outputs may now be "UnMerged" such that each output (or region) in the screen can have its own background source and position.
  • LTC Input may now be used as a time source to schedule Cues to play.
IMPROVED FEATURES

Release notes
Encore3 Version 10.1.2 Build 4837
Please read the What's New file after downloading this bundle for more detailed information about these features.

IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Please read the separate release notes documents for the Event Master Toolset software and operating system packages noted below.
  • Download and use the following Event Master Toolset and OS bundles with this release of firmware.
  • Event Master Toolset: 10.1.2.3844 or higher
  • Encore3 Operating System: 0.0.25 or higher
KNOWN ISSUES
  • Safari or Firefox browsers are not supported for updating the Encore3 firmware, or restoring a system from a backup file. Chrome and Edge browsers are recommended.
  • After a System Native Rate change, Screens using HDMI outputs may require the HDMI port processor to be soft reset if the output stops sending video.
  • 4096x2160 CEA and 12G-SDI input formats @59.94 and @60 may not be acquired.
  • There is a known issue with some other manufacturers' SDI video output devices not creating valid CRC streams per SMPTE ST-2081_2082 at 6G_12G-SDI rates and as such the Tri-Combo Input does not acquire its signal.
  • One link assignment, in each direction, is presently reserved for system synchronization, leaving 15 of the link assignments, in each direction, available to share video sources.
  • On a linked system, inputs and screens created at 4096x2160 @59.94 and @60 will not be available to use as a source over the link cables.
  • Changing the System Native Rate while input sources are already routed to layers may result in some layers exhibiting a horizontal wrap around. Momentarily resizing the layer will properly reorient the image inside the layer.
BUG FIXES
  • [FIXED] A condition where routing sources across linked units resulting in the link resource not assigning and the "Link Missing" overlay showing in the GUI is resolved.
