This is typically either done centrally from one APOC, or distributed with multiple small control rooms dedicated to one aspect.
Efficiently manage real-time operations
Because a lot of very diverse information needs to be monitored and managed in the APOC, there typically are multiple secured networks in place. Barco OpSpace is specifically designed to handle this sort of complex ecosystems, allowing to monitor all operations from a single pixel space, using only one keyboard and mouse - while upholding all security protocols. Barco also offers its renowned video walls portfolio (LED, LCD and rear-projection). A wide range of video wall controllers and the TransForm N data distribution system, allows to get all necessary information on a common operational picture - at the right time.

The brand-new Tianfu International Airport in Chengdu (China) officially opened on 27 June 2021, and is one of the highest-ranked airports on the Silk Road. It has an annual capacity of 320,000 flight movements (take-offs and landings), resulting in a throughput of 40 million passengers (60 million by 2025) and 700,000 tons of cargo. After Beijing and Shanghai, Chengdu is now the third city in the country to have two international airports with a 4F-runway, capable of accommodating the largest aircrafts in use today.
