Drawing inspiration from the deep connection between the Mayan worldview and Mother Earth, the stars, and the elements, this showcase was designed to transport participants into a transformative journey of connection and unity.

Context
INSPIRE Solutions Mexico aimed to create a multi-sensory environment where attendees could engage with powerful themes of balance, nature, and celestial guidance; elements deeply ingrained in Mayan culture. The event featured mapping within circular trusses representing interconnected realms, spanning 15’, 24’, and an impressive 66’ in diameter. A massive 100ft x 15ft curved screen acted as a visual gateway into the experience. To bring this ambitious vision to life, INSPIRE Solutions Mexico turned to Barco, known for delivering high-performance projection and event control solutions.
Challenges
Creating immersive environment that met the vision of INSPIRE Solutions Mexico involved several key challenges. Achieving seamless projection on a curved surface required advanced image warping and blending tools to prevent distortion and maintain uniform brightness. The vast venue and varying light conditions necessitated the use of high-brightness LED and projection technology to ensure crystal-clear imagery. Additionally, real-time content synchronization between the curved screen and LED displays was essential for maintaining the integrity of the storytelling flow.
Solution
To ensure unparalleled clarity, depth, and engagement, INSPIRE Solutions Mexico utilized a combination of Barco projection, image processing and LED display systems.
The 100ft x 15ft curved screen, the centerpiece of the event, enveloped attendees in stunning, high-resolution visuals. Barco’s UDM-W22 projectors ensured sharp, vibrant images with seamless edge blending, creating an uninterrupted and immersive viewing experience. The curvature of the screen allowed for a panoramic storytelling format, enhancing depth and realism.
The circular truss installation played a symbolic role in representing the interconnectedness of the natural and celestial worlds. Projection mapping techniques brought these structures to life, with one UDM per truss displaying moving graphics, abstract animations, and celestial imagery synchronized with the event’s narrative.
Two 10m x 6m LED screens were positioned on either side of the room, complementing the main visual storytelling and ensuring that every guest, regardless of seating position, had a clear view of key content including the awards and entertainment portions of the show.
The seamless integration of visual storytelling and immersive audio-visual technology was achieved using Barco’s E2 Event Master platform complementing the media servers as the system distribution and switching system.
Results
The fusion of Mayan-inspired themes with cutting-edge technology created a one-of-a-kind corporate incentive experience.
