Issue
When your display is connected to the MST port (display port OUT) of the MDNC-8132 or MDRC-8132, it can occasionally happen that you will see video artifacts similar to the examples shown in the pictures below. This issue can happen when the displays are returning from DPMS or when the system is restarted.
Root Cause
Some displays using the older DP 1.1 standard are not compatible with the MST functionality of the MDRC/MDNC-8132 displays.
Workaround
Our investigation showed that if there are any video artifacts seen on a display that is connected to the MST port (display port OUT) of the MDNC-8132 or MDRC-8132 they automatically disappear within 15 seconds after the system restarts or the displays return from DPMS. Please note that Barco recommends using displays with DP v1.2 standard and higher since our investigation showed that there are no issues when using those displays.
