Updating ClickShare Buttons over Wi‑Fi is supported only when the ClickShare Base Unit firmware is updated incrementally.
This behavior applies only to ClickShare CS(E) Base Units.
After a successful firmware update of the ClickShare Base Unit, the ClickShare Buttons will automatically update over Wi‑Fi when:
- They are plugged into a laptop
- They are not actively sharing
Manual Button updates are still possible by:
- Pairing the Buttons via the USB port on the Base Unit, or
- Using the Button Manager
However, these manual methods are not required after a standard, incremental Base Unit firmware update.
