Cannot cast to ClickShare Base Units.
Reason
The network may be using private IP addresses (non-routable):
- Class A: 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255
- Class B: 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255
- Class C: 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255
These ranges will be blocked by recent versions of Google Chrome when attempting to cast.
Solution
Use these Chrome flags to enable casting in a private network:
chrome://flags/#media-router-cast-allow-all-ips --> Connect to Cast devices on all IP addresses: enabled
