      IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY
      • Synchronization across Linked systems becomes automated with this OS update. Using the "Circle Arrow" icon in the lower left corner of the master processor on the Configuration page is no longer necessary but will remain available as a backup manual operation.
      • For larger than HD Stills, capture times have been improved.
      • New driver improves boot and re-boot sequences that would occasionally cause the system to hang at startup.

      IMPORTANT NOTES
      • 1) In order to upgrade to OS version 0.3.4.b, you MUST first already have OS version 0.2.3.b installed. If the OS installed is lower than 0.2.3.b, updating to this OS will not be allowed.
      • Please install 0.2.3.b before installing 0.3.4.b.
      • 2) After you have successfully updated to 0.3.4.b, the system CAN NOT be downgraded to a previous OS release. Attempting to do so will not change the OS in any way. Any attempt to downgrade will cause the E2 to simply return to the "Upgrade Menu" or you may see "Upgrade Failed".
      • 3) Updating the E2 OS will have no effect on the firmware currently installed on the E2. If a newer version of firmware is available for download, this will need to be installed separately.
      NEW FEATURES
      • To properly support PNG file transfers to the E2 for use as Stills, this OS update is required when running E2 firmware 01.50 or higher.

      IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY
      • Under certain conditions, the E2 file system could become corrupt during a shutdown sequence, causing the E2 to not boot properly during the next power cycle. This issue has been addressed in this release.
