Visionary showcase at World Expo 2025

Get ready for some serious Barco visioneering as we’re heading to World Expo 2025! Under the theme "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", we're all set to enhance the visitor experience across multiple pavilions with our state-of-the-art visualization technology.

The World Expo 2025 is happening on Yumeshima, an island in Osaka Bay, from April 13 to October 13, 2025. With over 28 million visitors expected, including 3.5 million from overseas, it's going to be an epic edition with water-themed relaxing areas, spacious outdoor event plazas, and a whole lot of unforgettable moments. 

Human regeneration

We are thrilled to be part of the creative and tech-savvy consortium supporting the Belgian pavilion’s narrative. The Expo’s theme focuses on tackling major global issues through innovations in healthcare, sustainability, and technology. The Belgian pavilion will feature scenography focusing on the ‘Saving Lives’ theme with a human-centered story about improving humanity, calling for renewal in the face of today’s challenges, and reflecting on our ability to change and grow.

As a trusted name in both medical imaging and immersive experiences, Barco is uniquely positioned to co-create a top-notch visual experience for the Belgian pavilion. 

Belgian pavilion tech highlights

Equipped with twenty-four I600 and three UDX projectors, the Belgian pavilion’s visitor journey is set to be a showstopper, blending cutting-edge technology with artistic flair. Additionally, we’re boosting the meeting room facilities in the Belgian Pavilion with two ClickShare units for smooth and efficient collaboration. And during the Health and Well-being theme week, our Healthcare team will provide a unique demonstration of its latest innovation in autostereoscopic 3D display technology for medical use cases.

A global stage

But that's not all! Barco's projection tech will also be featured in several international pavilions, including Algeria, Taiwan, Tunisia, and India. We'll have a dedicated technical team on-site to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
