(1) This permanently unlocks the OSD.
Note that only the general models are mentioned here. Derived models (such as e.g. CB/BB versions, regional-specific versions, etc.) support the same methods as the 'parent' model.
Method 1: secret key combination
To unlock the OSD, do the following:
- Touch any of the OSD keys to highlight the touch keys.
- Press the following keys in the right order: Menu -> Left -> Right -> Left -> Menu
Method 2: Jog dial right turn
To unlock the OSD, turn the jog dial to the right for 5 seconds.
Method 3: Rotary wheel secret combination
- Long press up (5sec)
- Left (one position)
- Short press-up
- Short press-up
- Right (one position)
Remark: steps 2 to 5 should happen within a time frame of 5sec
Method 4: QAWeb only
Some products only support unlocking the OSD via QAWeb. See the table above.
