What happened to the device token ID required for my ClickShare Base Unit registration?

For ClickShare devices with firmware version 2.18 or above, the device-token based device registration has been replaced by a QR code-based registration and the registration link in the ClickShare Configurator.

ClickShare devices can now be registered (and onboarded in XMS Cloud) in the following ways:

  1. QR code scanning: how-to, see KB15557
  2. Clicking Registration link in ClickShare Configurator: how-to, see KB10810

For ClickShare Base Units with firmware version 2.17 or below, the device token is available on the System > XMS page in the ClickShare Configurator of the Base Unit.

Make sure that the ClickShare Base Unit is connected to the internet (and XMS Cloud) to be able to see the device token.
