The award-winning Barco UniSee® platform has revolutionized nearly seamless LCD video walls and is a huge step forward in terms of image quality, installation precision, ease-of-servicing and reliability. Barco UniSee 500+, the successor to its popular UniSee 500 LCD video wall platform, offers typical brightness levels of 500 cd/m². It's design specifically for control rooms, security operations, utilities, transportation hubs, and other 24/7 environments. This next-generation display solution combines enhanced panel technology with intelligent system management to deliver superior clarity, uniformity and uptime.
Bezel-less viewing experience, innovative mounting system
Barco UniSee's bezel-less design, which makes the inter-tile gap barely noticeable, enables spreading content over multiple tiles without the interruption of a disturbing black border. The revolutionary UniSee Mount uses the power of gravity to perfectly and automatically align panels – and keep them in place over time. What's more, UniSee Mount also eases maintenance efforts, allowing swift undocking of separate panels. Additionally the UniSee InvisiMount solution offers a sleeker design without the visible wall crosses.
The Smart local dimming technology, originally introduced for UniSee II, is now for the first time entering the 500 nit segment with the introduction of UniSee 500+. This intelligent feature provides sharper image quality and more accurate visual information to operators: enhanced intra-panel communication delivers a more uniform display experience across the entire wall, reducing visible boundaries and inconsistencies.
Sense X, automatic and continuous calibration for perfect uniformity
Sense X, the automatic, continuous color and brightness calibration system, ensures that the complete wall gives a perfectly balanced image at all times. Barco also applies proprietary uniformity calibration algorithms to counter all possible variations in color and brightness from the center to the edges. The comprehensive calibration method allows the video wall to be fine-tuned to perfection, ensuring consistent visual performance throughout its lifetime.
Setup and maintenance can be performed even faster and more easily through a wizard which guides you through the complete installation process. The individual panels are automatically recognized by the software upon introduction. The local dimming feature brings higher contrast, lower radiated heat and reduced power consumption.
