Note — Content visibility and takeover sharing

A user may be successfully connected to the ClickShare device, but their shared content might not be visible on the screen if the maximum number of simultaneous displayed sources has been reached.

Depending on how the user is connected to the ClickShare device, they may be able to use the takeover sharing feature to replace the currently displayed content. For how-to instructions:

  • ClickShare Button/Desktop App User: see here.
  • ClickShare Mobile App User: see here.

With ClickShare Hub devices, simply pressing the ClickShare Button or selecting the desired content thumbnail in the ClickShare Desktop App will automatically replace the currently displayed content on the meeting room screen.

Note — Local View Restrictions

If you see a notification in the ClickShare Desktop App about room view limits, it means the maximum allowable room view limit for the connected ClickShare device has been exceeded. See KB11203. – Local View restrictions (simultaneous connection and frame rate).
